Rita Warren
President

Rita Warren was born in Chicago but grew up in the San Fernando Valley of Southern California. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature from UCLA. After graduating, she worked as Copy Editor for ‘TEEN Magazine and eventually moved on to freelance writing after she got married to her husband Michael in 1970.

In the late ‘80’s her husband challenged her to learn how to manage their investment portfolio, which was building up. She took it to heart and learned – through trial, error and much Internet research – how to invest in the stock market and real estate. She is now a successful private investor and once led five women’s investment clubs where she taught about stocks and finances.

She loves teaching anyone – particularly young people and women – how to be responsible and educated about their financial investments so that they can be independent.  She was also the Chairperson of the Board of Communitas International (formerly Christian Associates); a ministry which plants churches in the major cities of Europe, South America and other parts of the globe (with a view to presenting Jesus Christ to a world which has for the most part turned away from Him). She served for nearly 20 years in this capacity and still maintains strong ties with this organization as Board Chair Emeritus.

She now devotes much of her time to teaching women's’ Bible studies. For fun, Rita reads and spends cherished time with her four grandchildren, friends and her son Matthew and daughter Dana.
